Every effort is made to ensure that a high quality lifestyle is maintained and enhanced. New Vistas’ beautiful surroundings, warm home atmosphere and attentive staff ease the transition into your new surroundings. Our well appointed rooms are available fully furnished or can accommodate your own treasured pieces. Each bathroom comes equipped with safety features specifically designed for seniors.

Medical and Personal Daily Care
Each resident at New Vistas is assessed before arrival through consultation with the family, family physician and the resident. A personalized care program is then established to meet the needs of our new guest in the most effective way possible.
The monitoring of medications is offered to all residents. We also provide the option of our staff ordering, and dispensing medication as per the physician’s instructions.
Through daily resident checks, our staff will note any change in the needs of individuals. They will consult with the resident and his or her family physician to determine the appropriate course of action. If a resident needs additional assistance with activities of daily living, those services can be provided by our trained staff who have a commitment to preserving the resident’s privacy and personal dignity. These optional services may be in the form of assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting or additional personal/ nursing care.
Dining
It is our goal at New Vistas to provide our residents with an intimate and relaxing dining experience. In our commitment to providing the highest quality of service, food is no exception.
We pride ourselves on our dining quality using fresh ingredients to prepare meals to suit everyone’s tastes.
When new residents arrive, they are consulted as to their food preferences. This is then incorporated into the home’s daily meal plan. We try to best accommodate all our residents’ tastes and prepare meals that they will enjoy.
New Vistas caters to each of our residents. Traditional afternoon tea is served each day and reflects the
personal nature of our home. Snacks are prepared daily for the resident’s enjoyment.
